I have never seen any evidence that any one cylinder is able to breathe better than another. Given the dynamics associated with the design of our engines, having ample cycle seperation for each bank, any variations in airflow through a cylinder would be a result of how well that cylinder got the exhaust gases out. Given the design of the exhaust manifolds, this probably is the best explanation to your question.
